Holiday Lights!
December 21st, 2006
Here we go! Install, fire up a Cocoa application and celebrate! Be sure to check out the global options available in the light menu along with per-window options that you can change by right-clicking a light. A special bonus with those of you with a MacBook Pro or PowerBook with an ambient light sensor is the lights can glow brighter as the room gets darker.
A quick movie of all the main features is available here
My charity of choice is World Vision (http://www.worldvision.org/), an organization dedicated to helping children throughout the world.
Source is available under the GPL here.
Have fun!

Let there be light(s)!

I'm going for the fairly cliché attack here, so I won't keep anyone guessing. So without further ado, here's a screenshot that I made earlier today:
I chose to go for the input manager route, as I'm too uncreative to actually come up with a cute application. Hopefully by the time I'm done tomorrow I'll have more to show than some ugly lights clinging to other application's windows.
