Time to wrap up the app...

December 21st, 2006

Well the app is done! With a few hours left to the deadline, I have time to spare to make a website and some templates. This project has been fun, and the app will continue to develop and mature after this festive contest. Stay tuned for the unveiling.

Got some time to Blog

December 19th, 2006

Had a great day programming. The app for the most part is done - just have to put the file saving stuff in, maybe add some tooltips, a help guide, oh and I still need a graphic artist to make nice looking templates

sneaky peak...

let the guessing begin at what it is. hint: it's a pretty darn simple app

Going for File->New Project... in XCode and the knitting of app shall begin. I should be done coding in about 3 hours. Then I shall spend the next remaining 45 hours commenting the code, fixing bugs...

Yup, nothing like that feeling of being overly optimistic of how fast you can code something when you start a project. In about 4 hours time, I'll have already slipped my first deadline of having the code done in 3 hours....

Hagen Kaye

The two charities chosen by Hagen Kaye are:

Hagen Kaye had this to say when asked how he's planning on winning the challenge - "Damn it Jim, I'm a programmer not a graphic artist. My idea is simple, but I'm going to pester the best of the best graphic designers I know personally to make the app look festively awesome. Ok, I don't know that many graphic designers, so I'm begging anyone out there to email me if you want to help me out :D"
